Limited editions
Explain that each customer can buy one.

Say when a WooCommerce variable product is sold one per order, from its Sold individually setting, such as One per order.
These are the actual published outputs of the widget for sample variable products in the lab shop.
Product chooses the current product, a selected variable product or the product of one variation. Display sets a prefix, the text when sold one per order, an optional text when there is no limit and an optional icon. The Style tab covers typography, colours, background, border, radius, spacing, alignment, prefix and note colours, and the icon.
When a product is set to Sold individually, WooCommerce hides the quantity box and refuses a second one in the cart, which can confuse shoppers. Variation individual purchase note tells them up front that it is one per order, for a variable product and all its options.
