This notice covers Complementor, its pages on ibuildelementor.com, and related customer support. I Build Elementor uses customer information to provide the product and support. For privacy questions or requests, email support@ibuildelementor.com.
Information used to provide the product
Customer and licensing information may include your name, email, purchase and subscription details, license and activation records, site URL, and software version information. We use this to provide subscription access, deliver updates, manage activations, answer support requests, prevent misuse, and resolve billing issues.
The plugin saves module preferences and configuration in your WordPress database. The current widgets process the text and post content needed for their functions on your site. Complementor's module code does not upload article bodies or clipboard text to our server for these functions.
Freemius checkout and licensing
Freemius provides checkout, billing, licensing, updates and the hosted account. It processes payment and account information and shares customer email and transaction data with product developers for licensing and support. We do not receive full payment-card details. Optional SDK usage analytics follow the choices shown in its consent interface. I Build Elementor is responsible for the purposes of the customer data we use for our product and support. Freemius handles data for its services under its own notices and relevant processing arrangements; it is not simply a payment form hosted by us.
Support and website enquiries
When you contact us, we receive the information you send, such as your email, order reference, issue description, screenshots and technical details. Send only the information needed to explain the issue. Do not email passwords, secret API keys, full card numbers or unrelated customer data.
The website's project enquiry form collects the contact and project details you submit and uses Resend to deliver them to our team. Website hosting on Vercel may process technical request information such as IP address and browser information to deliver and protect the site. Our Complementor pages do not add a separate advertising tracker.
Sharing and storage
Information is shared with the providers needed to deliver hosting, email, billing, licensing and support, or where required by law. Payment and portal sessions use Freemius's own cookies and services; see its cookie policy. Service providers may process information internationally under their applicable data protection arrangements.
We retain customer and support records for the purposes described above, including required accounting records, dispute handling and ongoing account support. We remove or anonymize information when it is no longer needed, subject to legal retention requirements. Plugin deactivation and uninstall retain local settings and page content to avoid accidental data loss; removing your plugin does not delete your Freemius account.
Your choices and requests
You can manage billing information and subscriptions through your customer portal and choose whether to participate in optional analytics. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction or objection to processing, and withdraw consent where consent is the basis used. Contact us for records we hold and Freemius for its records. We may need to verify your identity before releasing account information.
We use information as necessary to provide a requested purchase or support, meet legal obligations, protect our services, or where you have given consent. You may complain to your relevant data protection authority. We will update this notice when our practices change.
