Editing for readability
Find the sentences that run too long.

Let visitors split text into sentences for their language, see word counts and average sentence length, spot long sentences and copy one per line.
These are the actual published widgets running in your browser; paste your own text to try them.
Text and language sets the starting text, the language tag, whether visitors can change it and whether abbreviations are kept together. Behaviour sets the long sentence limit, word counts, numbering and live updates. Labels sets the heading and every label and button. The Style tab covers the layout, box height, sentence list, fields and buttons.
Splitting text at every full stop goes wrong quickly: Mr. Smith becomes two sentences, prices and dates break apart, and Japanese or Chinese text has no spaces at all. Sentence segmenter uses the browser’s language-aware sentence rules, keeps common abbreviations, initials and ordinal dates together, and lists each sentence with its word count so writers can find the ones that run too long.
