Weekly blogs and journals
Show the publishing rhythm.

Show a month calendar of published posts, with each day that has posts linked to its archive and the month's posts listed underneath.
Each example below is the actual published output of the Public post calendar widget for a sample blog that posts every Monday. Links point to the sample site.
Content sets the post type, the month, the post list, the month link and the text around the calendar. The Style tab covers the calendar, days with posts, today, grid lines, links and the icon.
Blogs and journals that publish on a rhythm want readers to see it: which days had posts and what came out this month. The classic WordPress calendar is a sidebar widget that is hard to style in Elementor and lists nothing on phones. Public post calendar shows a month as a proper table, highlights and links the days with posts, and lists the month's posts underneath so it works on every screen.
