Author boxes
Show how much each writer has published.

Show how many public posts the current author has written, such as “13 posts by Maya Lund”, linked to their author archive.
These are the actual published outputs of the widget on a sample post by an author with 13 public posts: the default linked count, a byline count with the author's name, and a plain note.
Content sets the wording for one and more posts (with % for the number and {author} for the name), whether it links to the author's posts, text before and after, a fallback, the HTML tag and an optional icon. The Style tab covers typography, colour, link hover colour, alignment, background, border, radius and padding, plus icon position, size, gap and colour.
Author boxes and bylines often mention how prolific a writer is, and typed counts go stale with every new post. Public author post count counts the published, public posts of the author being viewed, words it correctly for one or many, and links to the author's archive.
