Multi-author blogs
Let readers follow their favourite writer.

Link readers to the RSS feed of the author of the current post or author archive, with the author's name in the link text.
These are the actual published outputs of the widget on a sample post by Maya Lund: a plain link, an RSS pill button, and a byline link.
Content sets the link label with an {author} placeholder, text before and after, a fallback when there is no eligible author, the HTML tag and an optional icon such as RSS. The Style tab covers typography, link Normal, Hover and Focus states, alignment, radius and padding, plus icon position, size, gap and colour.
On multi-author blogs some readers want to follow one writer, and WordPress already publishes an RSS feed per author, but nothing on the page links to it. Public author feed link links to the feed of whoever wrote the post being viewed, names the author in the link text, and hides itself for authors with no public posts.
