Guides and recipes
Show readers that a post was updated recently.

Show when the current post was published, last updated, or both, in the site's date format, a custom format or as a relative age.
These are the actual published outputs of the widget on a sample post: the default date, published and updated dates, and a relative age.
Content sets which date is shown, the format, text before each date, the separator, an optional link to the post or that day's archive, a fallback text, the HTML tag and an optional icon. The Style tab covers typography, colour, label colour, link hover colour, alignment, background, border, radius and padding, plus the icon.
Readers want to know how fresh a post is, and an updated date matters for guides and recipes that change over time. Post published date shows the publication date, the last updated date, or both, in the site's own date format and language, a custom format or as a relative age. The updated date only appears when the post really changed on a later day, and every date carries a machine-readable time element.
