Let pupils test the leap year rules on any year.

Let visitors type a year and see whether it is a leap year under Gregorian rules, why, and the next and previous leap years, as they type.
These are the actual published outputs of the widget. Type a year from 1 to 9999; the answer updates as you type.
Content sets the starting year, whether the reason, the previous leap year, later leap years and the note for early years appear, and every label and text. The Style tab covers the field, the answer colours, the details, the result panel and the labels.
Pupils, planners and anyone with a 29 February birthday often want to know whether a year is a leap year, and the century rule catches people out. Leap year checker runs on your own page: visitors type a year and see the answer, the reason in plain words, the number of days and the next and previous leap years, updated as they type. It applies the Gregorian rules, so 2000 is a leap year and 1900 and 2100 are not.
