Category landing pages
Introduce each category before its posts.

Show the description of the category, tag or author being viewed, keeping its paragraphs and links, on any Elementor archive template.
These are the actual published outputs of the widget inside the Kitchen journal category of a sample site: the description as written, as an intro callout, and as a one-line summary.
Content sets whether paragraphs and links are kept, text before and after, a fallback where there is no description, the HTML tag for plain text and an optional icon. In the editor, where there is no archive, a styled sample lets you preview the design. The Style tab covers typography, colour, alignment, background, border, radius and padding, plus icon position, size, gap and colour.
WordPress lets you write a description for every category, tag and author, but archive templates built in Elementor often leave it out. Archive description shows the description of the archive being viewed, with its paragraphs and links intact, and prints nothing where there is none.
