Policies and terms
Show the current version and when it changed.

Show a page's document version, last revision date and maintainer from ACF fields, such as “Version 2.3 · Revised March 14, 2026”.
These are the actual published outputs of the widget on a sample post with sample ACF values.
Fields chooses the ACF Text field for the version, the Date Picker for the revision date (with an optional fallback to the post's last update) and the Text field for the maintainer. Display sets the layout, the three labels, the separator, text before and after, a text when nothing is saved, the HTML tag and an icon. Style covers text and surface, label colour, value weight, row spacing and the icon.
Policies, guides, specifications and terms change, and readers need to know which version they are reading and how current it is. Typing “Version 2.3, updated 14 March” into each page goes stale. ACF document revision summary reads three ACF fields you keep on the post — a version, a revision date and a maintainer — and shows them as one line or a labelled list, with the date in your site's date format. Without a revision date it can use the post's own last update.
