Trade and phone orders
Let buyers quote the exact option code.

Show the SKU of the variation a shopper picks on a variable product, the product's own SKU before a choice, or one fixed variation's SKU.
These are the actual published outputs of the widget for the sample Merino scarf. On a product page they change with the chosen colour.
Content sets the product (current, selected or one fixed variation), whether to follow the shopper's choice, the text before, what shows before a choice and what to do when a variation has no SKU of its own. The Style tab covers typography, colours, surface, border and icon.
On a variable product the SKU that matters is the chosen option's: the navy scarf, not the scarf. Stores need it for phone orders, trade customers and stock checks, but a custom product page built in Elementor has nowhere to show it that changes with the shopper's choice. Variation SKU shows the product's SKU (or a prompt) before a choice and the chosen variation's SKU straight after, on the product page or next to an add-to-cart form.
