Product chooses the current product, a selected variable product or one fixed variation, and what to show before a choice. Wording sets the expiry text, the no-expiry text, whether to show the download limit, the limit and no-limit texts and an optional icon. The Style tab covers typography, text colour, background, border, radius, spacing, alignment and the icon.

Buyers of digital products are frustrated when a link stops working after a few days or a few downloads, especially when the terms differ between formats. WooCommerce stores a download expiry and limit for each variation but does not show them before purchase. Variation download expiry note states them plainly for the option the shopper picks.

How to show download expiry for variations in Elementor
Start with Complementor installed and your license connected. Enable this module in the WordPress library, then configure it in Elementor.
Install Complementor, connect your license and enable Variation download expiry note in the Complementor library.
In WooCommerce, set Download limit and Download expiry on each downloadable variation under Product data › Variations.
Add the widget to your single product template, or to a page that also shows the product's add-to-cart form, and choose the product in Product.
In Wording, edit the expiry and limit texts, and choose what to say when there is no expiry or limit.
Style it, then pick formats on the product page to check the note.

Expiry text with {period}, which reads 30 days or 1 day correctly.
Download limit with {downloads}, which reads 5 downloads or 1 download.
Separate texts, or nothing, when downloads never expire or are unlimited.
Options that are not downloadable show nothing.

Troubleshoot variation download expiry note
Check these settings if the published page behaves differently from the editor.
Why does it say Downloads never expire?
Download expiry is empty or -1 on that variation. Set a number of days, or clear the No expiry text to say nothing.
Why is the download limit missing?
The limit is unlimited and No limit text is empty, or Show the download limit is off.
Why does nothing show for one option?
That option is not downloadable, so it has no download terms.
Why does it not change when I pick an option?
The product's options form must be on the same page, for example its own product page or a product shortcode.

Does it need Elementor Pro?
No. It works with the free version of Elementor and WooCommerce.
Does it enforce the expiry?
No. WooCommerce enforces download expiry and limits; the widget only states them.
Is singular wording handled?
Yes. {period} and {downloads} read 1 day and 1 download correctly.
Can I use my own wording?
Yes. All texts are editable, with {days} and {limit} for the bare numbers.
Does it need JavaScript?
Only to follow the shopper's choice; without it the starting value is shown.
