Content sets the product (the current one or a selected product) and an optional prompt before a choice. The Style tab covers typography, colour, alignment, background, border, radius and padding, the prompt colour and the link colour.

Where to use variation description
Variation descriptions are useful for care notes, materials or sizing that differ between options, but WooCommerce shows them only under its variation form. Variation description places the chosen option's description anywhere in your layout and updates it as the shopper picks an option, with only safe formatting kept.

How to show a variation description in Elementor
Start with Complementor installed and your license connected. Enable this module in the WordPress library, then configure it in Elementor.
Install Complementor, connect your license and enable Variation description in the Complementor library.
Write a description for each variation.
Add the widget to the variable product template, or choose a product.
Add a prompt for before a choice, if you like.
Style it and pick an option on the product page.

Troubleshoot variation description
Check these settings if the published page behaves differently from the editor.
Why is nothing shown?
No option is chosen yet and no prompt or default option is set, or the chosen variation has no description.
Why did formatting disappear?
Only paragraphs, emphasis, lists and safe links are kept.
Why does it not change?
It changes only on the product's own page.
Why nothing for a simple product?
Simple products have no variations.
Variation description plugin questions
Does it need Elementor Pro?
No. It works with the free version of Elementor and WooCommerce.
Where does it get its information?
From the Description field of the product's variations in WooCommerce.
Does it work in a product template?
Yes. Leave Product on Current public product and it follows the product being viewed.
Why does nothing show in some cases?
It stays silent when the information would be missing or untrue. In the editor a short note explains why.
Is the description checked for unsafe code?
Yes. Scripts and unsafe markup are removed before it is shown.
