03 / Website use cases

Where to use variation attribute value

After picking options, shoppers like to see their choice confirmed in words near the price or image, and stores want to show which colours exist before anyone chooses. Variation attribute value shows “Grey, Navy, Red” first, then the chosen value, and handles options set to “Any” by reading the shopper's pick.

Check these settings if the published page behaves differently from the editor.

Why does the editor say there is no such attribute?

Check the spelling or slug, or leave Attribute empty for the first attribute used for variations.

Why does it not change?

The page needs the product's options form and the module's script.

Why are all values shown?

No option is chosen yet. Choose a prompt or nothing instead.

Can I hide “Colour:”?
