Content sets the product (the current one or a selected product), the texts for several options, one option, some out of stock and none available, whether to list the choices, and an optional icon. The Style tab covers typography, colour, alignment, background, border, radius and padding, the choices, and the icon.

03 / Website use cases

Where to use product variation count

On product cards and landing pages, shoppers cannot see that a product comes in several colours or sizes until they open it, and they find out late that their size is sold out. Product variation count shows how many options a variable product offers, how many are in stock, and optionally the choices per attribute that can still be bought.

Troubleshoot product variation count

Check these settings if the published page behaves differently from the editor.

Why is nothing shown?

The product is not variable, or none of its options can be bought right now.

Why is the count lower than my variations?

Only published, purchasable variations shoppers can see are counted.

Why is a colour missing from the list?

The list shows choices that are in stock.

Why “of 3 options in stock”?

Some options are out of stock. Empty that text to show only the total.
