Explain the tax line in the cart, written from your WooCommerce tax settings.

Each example below is the actual published widget reading the demo store’s settings: cart prices before VAT with VAT on its own line, shop prices including VAT, and taxable delivery.

VAT in your cart

Prices in your cart are before VAT; the VAT is added as its own line.

  • Shop pages show prices with VAT included, so items look lower here before the VAT line.
  • The total lists each VAT rate on its own line.
  • VAT is charged on delivery as well as on your items.
  • Until you enter your address, the VAT is worked out at our store's rate and may change at checkout.
